Kansas Windmill

A common site in some areas of Kansas, the windmill was an important part of everyday life to the people who settled on the Plains.  Historically, windmills (like the type pictured here) were used to pump water for livestock and human consumption.  Nowadays, these rusting relics are a symbol of life on the Plains from a time when people were more dependent upon the production of energy by natural means.  Windmills are actually having a comeback in parts of Kansas in modern form for the production of electricity. This old-timer, though, is merely a nice subject for a kansas picture!

Kansas Windmill is available as a multiple-size photo print.  Prices listed below are for the photo print only.  A flat fee of $4.95 (USPS - Priority) will be added to your order upon check out.  The larger your order, the greater your savings in shipping cost!  Most orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours of placement.  The United States Postal Service estimates a 2-3 day delivery timeframe for parcels shipped via Priority.  If you are a Kansas resident, sales tax will be applied to the sum of your item(s).  At this time, shipping is offered only within the United States.

All images displayed at this website are in low resolution.  The prints you order are produced from high resolution digital scans of 600 pixels per inch (ppi) with image files ranging from roughly 24-32 MB each!  This high resolution allows for large photo print sizes without compromising image details.  Your photo print(s) will arrive in sharp detail and vivid colors on Kodak Professional Portra Endura Paper.  The "www.PrintPhotography.com" text appearing on the website images will not be visible on your photo print(s).
