Butterflies are a difficult subject to photograph as they typically don't spend much time in one spot.  They have much better things to do than pose on a flower while someone gets in close to take a picture!  I was in the right place at the right time when I spotted this Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly along the Susquehanna River in Northeastern Maryland.  With some careful maneuvering with my camera, I zoomed in and positioned myself as closely as possible to my flighty subject - capturing the brilliant color and wingspan in this amazing butterfly picture!

Tiger Swallowtail is available as a multiple-size photo print.  Prices listed below are for the photo print only.  A flat fee of $4.95 (USPS - Priority) will be added to your order upon check out.  The larger your order, the greater your savings in shipping cost!  Most orders are processed and shipped within 24 hours of placement.  The United States Postal Service estimates a 2-3 day delivery timeframe for parcels shipped via Priority.  If you are a Kansas resident, sales tax will be applied to the sum of your item(s).  At this time, shipping is offered only within the United States.

All images displayed at this website are in low resolution.  The prints you order are produced from high resolution digital scans of 600 pixels per inch (ppi) with image files ranging from roughly 24-32 MB each!  This high resolution allows for large photo print sizes without compromising image details.  Your photo print(s) will arrive in sharp detail and vivid colors on Kodak Professional Portra Endura Paper.  The "www.PrintPhotography.com" text appearing on the website images will not be visible on your photo print(s).
